Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution: SABR Foundation Canada is dedicated to promoting peace through both grassroots and institutional initiatives. Our programs include community-level peace education, intercultural dialogue forums, and research on conflict resolution strategies.
Working in partnership with local organizations and stakeholders, we support initiatives focused on community resilience, protection, livelihoods, education, mental health and psychosocial support, public health, peacebuilding, and capacity strengthening. Our humanitarian approach emphasizes local leadership, evidence-informed practice, and sustainable, community-led solutions that help communities recover, adapt, and thrive.
Our Approach
Our work is guided by four interconnected principles:

- Evidence-Informed Practice — Using research, data, and lived experiences to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
- Collaboration — Building partnerships across sectors to maximize impact and strengthen community responses.
- Empowerment — Creating opportunities for individuals and communities to build confidence, leadership, and resilience.
